We use math for everything. When we shop, cook or drive. It happens automatically; we don’t think about it. Small calculations happen in our subconscious and there are few who have to pull out a calculator to solve, for example, 3 + 2.

However, calculators may be needed to solve more complicated problems.
I remember when my kids started going to school and I was trying to help them with their homework. When it came to math, it didn’t take long before they were much better at it than me.
What you learned while going to school keeps slowly fading away. Perhaps just because you rarely need to do more difficult and complex problems.
Therefore, I thought it would be great to test ourselves with a challenge that is quite simple, but it is important that you have a look at the math operation rules. What should you solve first?
The answer to that question is vital for succeeding in solving the quiz – which is intended for students attending middle school.

To get the right answer, one has to remember the order in which they should solve things.
Time for the answer
The first thing to do is to figure out the solution to the problem inside the parenthesis.
2 + 1 = 3
Then you have to do the multiplication. In this case, the number before the parenthesis, multiplied by the result of the problem inside it.
7 x 3 = 21
Now the rest becomes very easy.
5 + 21
The answer is: 26, option B
