Clumsy thief thinks he’s stealing opioids – only for them to turn out to be laxatives

There is an old expression that says “what goes around comes around,” which means that the bad energy you put out through actions and words, will eventually come back to bite you in the ass. One of the reasons the concept of Karma is so old is perhaps because it’s true. And this 56-year-old Florida man was no exception.

Thought he stole strong narcotics

Peter Hans Emery Jr; a 56-year-old man from Pinellas County, Florida, broke into his roommate office searching for drugs.

Jayme Ream, a veteran who lives with him, suspected he had stolen pills from his office before, so he decided to install a camera and switched the opioids for something “more fun.”

The pills were inside a container labeled Hydrocodone Acetaminophen, which is a very strong painkiller famous for its recreational use in America.

As expected, the thief didn’t get the desired effect from the pills and instead got some sweet and delicious karma.

Revenge laxatives

The pills that the man was trying to steal were prescribed to Jayme to help him with his back pain.

So instead of getting high, all the 56-year-old accomplished was getting an upset stomach and plenty of regrets.

According to the police’s report, the man angrily tossed the pills away when he realized what they actually were.

Will sit in jail

The 56-year-old has previously been convicted of burglary and theft, while being currently on probation. So he will spend some time sitting in jail, thinking about his life decisions, all while being not high.

This is probably one of the best examples of when karma strikes with full force and punishes those that only think about themselves.
