Steven and Maria were a happy couple, still in the puppy love phase. They were saving up for a place of their own, but still living with their parents. One night, they were sleeping at Steven’s parents’ place.
The morning after, Steven’s little brother Johnny comes down to the kitchen to eat breakfast.
After drinking some juice, he asks his mother if Steven and Maria are up yet.
His Mom replies, “No.”
Johnny asks, “Do you know what I think?”
His mother replies, “There’s no time for that! Now hurry, or you’ll be late for school.”
A few hours later, Johnny comes home for lunch. Once again, he asks his mother, “Are Steven and Maria up yet?”
She replies, “No.”
Johnny asks, “Do you know what I think?”
“Never mind what you think! Finish your lunch and get back to school,” his mother replies.
After school, Johnny comes back home. Once more, he asks, “Are Steven and Maria up yet?”
His mother says, “No.”
He asks, “Do you know what I think?”
His mother replies, “OK, I give up, what do you think?”
Johnny says:
“Last night Steven came to my room to borrow the Vaseline that I use for my dry skin. But I think I gave him my airplane glue…”
