Clumsy thieves steal diesel from bus – turns out to be pee and poo from the sewage tank

From a young age, we’re taught that stealing is not OK. You shouldn’t take other people’s stuff – it’s quite simple, really.

And most of us have no problems understanding this concept, but there are still people who can’t keep their hands to themselves and not steal from others.

I just love seeing people getting caught in wrongdoing, especially when it’s in a really embarrassing way. That’s what I call karma!

And this is exactly what happened to the Australian thieves who tried to steal diesel from a parked tourist bus, The West Australian reports.

People who steal for a living aren’t always the sharpest tools in the shed. These jackasses can’t differentiate between what’s mine and yours, but these particular ones really take the cake.

Snuck in close and started siphoning

This hilarious event took place in the Australian city of Laverton.

One night, the thieves scoped out a parked tourist bus and tried to siphon its diesel fuel, which would have netted them a hefty sum after selling it on.

At first, everything went according to plan. The thieves approached the bus undetected and connected the hose to the tank they thought contained the valuable fuel.

Full of crap

But something went very wrong when they connected the hose. They connected it to the wrong tank.

Instead of siphoning diesel from the bus, these bumbling fools siphoned from the bus’ sewage tank – which is the tank that contains all the pee and poo from the vehicle’s toilet.

“We can infer they beat a very hasty retreat, with a somewhat bitter taste in their mouth,” Police Sen. Sgt Heath Soutar tells The West Australian.

Officer Soutar added that they were looking for the offenders, but that police officers “have absolutely zero interest” in tracking down the stolen goods.

These thieves sure learned a life lesson – I can’t stop grinning!
