Like the couple in today’s story, they wanted to tell the world about their engagement—but ended up revealing more than they had planned.
Facebook is an excellent way to keep in touch with loved ones. Unfortunately, you don’t always have time to call them and talk for hours with your friends and family.
However, it is essential to be careful with the information you make public. Otherwise, things can go wrong very quickly.
A cute engagement picture
This couple wanted to inform their loved ones about their engagement via a Facebook post. So they uploaded a cute photo to the wife-to-be account, where you can clearly see her engagement ring.
Her Facebook post says:
“I am truly blessed today as the love of my life has asked me to marry him. Words cannot express how happy I feel, and how lucky I am. He wasn’t able to give me a real ring yet, but what matters is what’s on the inside.
I know that we will be happy together, regardless of material things. Be on the lookout for save-the-dates!”
But unfortunately, the future bride missed an important detail in the picture before posting it.
Something very private happened to slip by!
Quickly, her friends noticed a small package down in the left corner.

And so the comments started!
The friends saw the open pregnancy test, and the couple had to update their original post.
There was another great news to reveal!
“Hey guys, we’re having a baby too.”
