Mom sends son to school wearing a “McDonald’s” t-shirt

To a certain degree, all parents are embarrassing. As a parent, all you want is the best for your kids, which leads to becoming overprotective. That, plus the generational gap, would make any person on the planet look un-cool in front of their children, to the point of embarrassment.

Anything that you do can be perceived as an embarrassment to your children, especially if they are in the company of friends or classmates.

An excellent way to deal with it is to laugh it off and understand that it’s a natural thing. You felt the same way about your parents when you were that age. However, kids also tend to do embarrassing things on their own, as their naivety and innocence get them in situations no adult would ever dare to be.

Such was the case for Shelly McCullar. She sent her son, Anthony, to school wearing a t-shirt with the McDonald’s logo and their famous slogan “I’m loving it.” However, it turns out that neither of them really paid proper attention to the t-shirt.

Shelly lives with her family in the small city of Pampa, Texas. She received a moving basket containing old clothes from a friend. Among other things, there was a t-shirt that seemed to have the McDonalds logo printed on it, following by one of their famous catchphrases.

An embarrassing message

Without thinking much about it, Shelly let her son Anthony pick the t-shirt from the said basket. Anthony wore it to school, and there, he learned that the print had a pretty different meaning than what they first thought.

Instead of the famous logo, a woman was spreading her legs in a sexual fashion, giving the phrase “I’m loving it” a completely different meaning.

But instead of dying of embarrassment, Shelly, a seasoned mother, chose to laugh it off and share their hilarious mistake online.

“Must pay more attention”

Shelly uploaded a clip where Anthony is wearing the shirt on Twitter and Facebook, making hundreds of people laugh.

I need to pay more attention to what my kid put on for school,” wrote Shelly on her Twitter post.

“I thought it was like McDonald’s,” Anthony explains in the cute and hilarious clip.

Embarrassing, to say the least! But also amazing to see a family take it with good humor!
