Imagine suddenly finding out that you only had twelve hours left to live. Where would you go? What would you do?
First, you would have to come to terms with what’s happening.
Then, you’d have to make the most of the time that’s left. It may be an unpleasant thought, but I think that it could lead to some interesting situations.
The story below is a great example of just that – I almost busted a gut laughing at the last line!
A man goes to the doctor and discovers that he a rare disease, and only has 12 hours left to live. He tells his wife the bad news, and they do the best they can to cope.
That evening, his wife says, “Well, honey, you’ve got 12 hours left, what would you like to do? He says, “I want to make love.”
Rekindled fire
So they go upstairs and make passionate love, the way they did when they first got married.
They have a great time, and both feel a kind of desperate lust that had been missing for so many years.
A couple hours later, she again asks, “Well, honey, you’ve got 10 hours to live. What would you like to do?”
Once more he says, “I want to make love.”
So they rip their clothes off and make love right there on the living room floor.
Later, as she is about to doze off, the man gives her a nudge and says, “I know it’s getting late, but I think we can do it one more time.”
She then says irritably, “Well, that’s easy for you to say, you don’t have to get up in the morning!”
