Travel Guide: Here is the new sausage themed hotel

Staying in a hotel can be very special. You get to experience room service and don’t even have to clean your own room. But since the stays are usually short, it can be fun to try something a little “crazy” whenever you have a few days free for traveling.

Thankfully, now you can stay in the world’s first sausage themed hotel in the world!

It is located, unsurprisingly, in Germany. Everything at the Bratwursthotel is about sausages, reports Ladbible.

The hotel, located in Rittersbach, Germany, has seven rooms following the same theme: Sausages. On the menu, you can find sausages in all shapes and forms.

Dried sausages decorate the walls, and at bedtime, you cover yourself with sausage themed pillows and blankets.

Next door to the slaughterhouse

Running the hotel is the butcher Claus Böbel, who came up with the idea of expanding the family’s slaughterhouse by opening a hotel for sausage lovers.

The hotel’s full name is BB&BB, which stands for Böbel, Bratwurst, Bed, and Breakfast.

Claus is his family’s fourth-generation butcher. He has a pretty good grasp on sausages, which the menu in the restaurant is all about.

Sausage themed courses

In the restaurant, there are only sausage-related dishes. Sausage soups, sausage salads, sausage sandwiches, etc. If you can make it with sausages – it’s on the menu. For dessert, you can enjoy some sausage ice cream or chocolate cake with sausage slices.

When you are not eating sausages, you can learn about them in the slaughterhouse’s tours. You get to see how sausages are made and, of course, taste to your heart’s contempt.

A sausage-filled night at the hotel costs just under $100 – which is perhaps a fair price for a sausage lover?
