North Korea claims they’ve gotten rid of the coronavirus in “just 30 days”

The coronavirus has spread like wildfire around the world in the last couple of weeks.

In newspapers and on TV, we have followed the news of how most countries have shut down operations and pleaded its residents to stay home as much as possible.

However, that is not the case in North Korea. The disconnected Asian country eradicated the coronavirus – claims the Republic’s dictator Kim Jong Un.

For more information about the coronavirus COVID-19, see the World Health Organization’s website.

We are doing everything we can to prevent the spread of the COVID-19. The virus is very contagious and to avoid infection we should stay home for as long as possible.

However, in North Korea, they don’t have this problem – because they already got rid of the coronavirus.

No reported cases of COVID-19

In a statement made by Kim Jong Un, who’s the Republic’s Supreme Leader (Dictator). He claims North Korea has no reported cases of the COVID-19.

COVID-19 coronavirus

According to Kim, the key was shutting down the entire country for 30 days. And while closing its borders and stopping trade with China, North Korea has managed to do what no country from the free world could.

A scenario that experts (and people with common sense) don’t believe is possible.

Wants to look superior

Jung H. Pak, a former CIA analyst on North Korea, said that “It’s impossible for North Korea to not have a single case of coronavirus,” according to Viral Thread.

According to Pak, this statement is just Kim Jong Un trying to make the rest of the world see North Korea as a superior country.

The military is in lockdown

“It is a closed-off nation, so we can’t say emphatically that they have cases, but we’re fairly certain they do. What I do know is that their armed forces had been fundamentally in lockdown for about 30 days and only recently have they started routine training again. As one example, they didn’t fly an airplane for 24 days.” said General Robert Abrams, commander of U.S. Forces Korea, to Viral Thread.

To add even more doubt to the statement, according to sources from the South Korean media, North Korea has had several cases of COVID-19.
