It looks like fashion keeps heading towards being more and more revealing. You can see people on the street showing things you thought were only left to the imagination, something we at The Laugh Club have pointed out before.
Among other things, we have written about a pair of shorts that look like panties, men’s lingerie, and even sneakers with high heels, to name a few.
But fashion leaves nothing untouched, and now it seems it was time for eyelashes to evolve โ and I’m having a hard time finding the words to describe it.
This recent trend that has gone completely viral comes from Sofie Petersen, a Danish makeup artist who has made a name for herself with her unusual creations.
Looks like pubes
So the latest fad is to curl your eyelashes to the point that they look like pubes.
“I want to tell stories and joke around. I want to show emotions and have fun,” said Sofie about the trend according to The Mirror.
“I want people to feel something”
The unique trend has, to say the least, provoked strong reactions. It is understandable that people fear what they don’t understand, and for the past few years, I have had a very hard time understanding the latest trends and fads.
“It looks like aggressive pubes,” wrote an Instagram user.
“Pubic hair in the eyes? I don’t think so, thank youโ wrote another.
“Yuck!” wrote a third.
“I want people to feel something when they see my beauty looks, whether it’s inspired or disgusted.” Sofie told The Mirror.
