Funeral is interrupted by a familiar voice – now the amazing clip is spreading like wildfire

Funerals are usually somber affairs, full of tears, sadness and longing. Losing a loved one is incredibly painful, and they say that funerals should be a celebration of a person’s life – but that’s easier said than done.

However, one Irish man didn’t want his funeral to be a sad occasion. So he took matters into his own hands, and hilariously lightened the mood as his friends and family made their final goodbyes.

And now the man’s hysterical prank is taking the internet by storm!

Last week, Shay Bradley was buried by his loving family. He was a witty man who always had a joke up his sleeve. He would always put a smile on his friends’ faces. And even the inconvenience of passing away wouldn’t stop him from making people laugh one last time.

Suddenly, a knocking sound

All his loved ones are gathered at the funeral. As his coffin is being lowered into the ground, a prerecorded message from Shay starts playing from the speakers. Shay Bradley had one last joke up his sleeve – and he soon had everyone laughing out loud.

Suddenly, there’s a “knock, knock, knock” sound, and then bagpipes start playing.

“Hello? Hello?!?” Shay calls out, as if he were speaking from inside the coffin.

“Let me out! Where the f*ck am I?” he continues.

“Let me out!”

Many of the funeral-goers start laughing – something that frequently happened when Shay was around.

“Hello, hello! Let me out, it’s f*cking dark in here. Where the f*ck am I? Is that the priest I can hear?” he continues.

Luckily for us, the video of this funny and touching moment was uploaded to Twitter by Ciarán after getting the family’s approval, Unilad reports. The clip perfectly shows just what kind of a man Shay was – a loving jokester who’d do anything to put a smile on his friends’ faces.
