I think we all want healthy minds and bodies – so this new puzzle trend is a real boon!

This is a really tricky math problem that I thought I had figured out – but I have to admit that I was wrong.

You’ve really got to think twice to solve this equation!

Look at the equation below and try to figure out the answer. You can solve it with basic math.

Have you got your answer? Okay, let’s walk this through step by step.

3 apples = 30.

10 + 10 + 10 = 30

Apple = 10!

Now we know that 1 apple equals 10.

10 + 4 + 4 = 18

So that means that banana = 4.

4 – 2 = 2

Coconut = 2

So, what’s the answer?

“Piece of cake,” I thought to myself.

2 + 10 + 4 = 16!

So 16 is the answer, right?!

THAT’S INCORRECT, IT’S NOT 16!

If you look closely, you can see that the last bunch of bananas only has 3 bananas instead of 4. That changes everything!

2 + 10 + 3 = 15

That’s got to be it, right?!

Nope, still incorrect!

If you look even closer, you’ll notice that the last row only has 1 coconut instead of 2.

So the answer is… 14!

10 + 3 + 1 = 14

Tricky, right? SHARE this with your friends to make sure that they too exercise their brains today!
