This is Charlotte, a 70-year-old grandma, and the world’s most tattooed woman

A topic that will always generate some controversy (especially between different age groups) is tattoos. Some people think it’s cool and a great way to express their personality, while others think only inmates do it and perceive it as untasteful.

Of course, adults have the right to do whatever they want with their bodies, as long as they do not harm themselves or others in the process.

Charlotte Guttenberg, 70, is the most tattooed woman in the world, a title accomplished after covering 98.75% of her body with ink.

Here at The Laugh Club, we do not just write about silly things to have a fun time. We also follow individuals who chose to live their lives uniquely, and it is our opinion that every person has the same worth and we should respect everyone no matter how they live their lives!

In 2015 Charlotte Guttenberg, a woman born in Florida, was awarded the Guinness World Record as the most tattooed senior citizen (female). At the time she had about 91% of her body covered in tattoos.

Tattoos after 50th birthday

Today, Charlotte has tattooed 98.75 percent of her body, with only parts of her face and hands-free of ink. Becoming the most tattooed woman in the world and the most tattooed woman living.

However, Charlotte has not always been covered in ink. In fact, she didn’t get her first tattoo until after her 50th birthday!

It all started the day she got a little ink butterfly on her chest – and the rest is history.

“I knew immediately that I wanted to get a full suit,” Charlotte told the Guinness World Records.

216 feathers on her body

Charlotte met her other half, Chuck Helme, at a tattoo shop. They fell in love at first sight. Chuck offered to hold her hand through her session, and have not let go of it ever since.

Like Charlotte, Chuck holds the record for the most tattooed senior citizen (male) and has, among other things, set the world record for most skulls tattooed on the body, with a total of 376 pieces.

Charlotte also holds the world record for the most feathers tattooed on the body, as she has 216 feathers throughout her figure.
