Of course, you eventually make peace with your looks and appearance. Sure, you may not be happy with everything, but accepting how you look is the first step toward improving your image.
But a healthy diet and exercise are simply not enough for some of us. Many people look into surgery to get the appearance they want, and as long as you are over 18, you have every right in the world to do whatever you want with your body.
Anastasiia Pokreshchuk, 31, from Ukraine, is one such person. She has become addicted to filling her cheeks—which has now caused doctors to warn her not to continue, reports Ladbible.

Anastasiia fills her cheeks with a kind of acid several times a year to make them stand out, getting plenty of attention online.
“Mom thinks I’m crazy”
The 31-year-old from Kyiv, Ukraine, says her new look has made her hugely popular with men.
“Of course, I have more attention with my filler, romantic also. But it’s not to do with my cheeks—it’s because I have become more confident,” Anastasiia said, according to Ladbible.
But it’s not just positive reactions.
“My mom thinks this is a little bit crazy, but what can she do? No regrets, never any regrets, I’m happy with my cheeks,” said Anastasiia, according to Ladbible.
“Looked like a gray mouse”
Before Anastasiia underwent her transformation, she was very unhappy with her appearance.
“I was ashamed of everything; my voice, my appearance. It was really hard work. I think I was ugly before. My mom thinks that I was naturally beautiful before, but now thinks I look more exotic and my friends say my new appearance is better because before I looked like a grey mouse,” Anastasiia said.
She ignores what the doctors say
With her unique appearance, Anastasiia has become a hot topic on the internet, with over 160,000 followers receiving daring updates from Anastasiia daily.
But her protruding cheeks come at a price. Anastasiia is now addicted to cheek fillers and has even injected herself, which can be very dangerous.
“There’s a reason why injectable fillers are administered by experienced practitioners, there’s a huge amount of skill and knowledge requires. Complications can arise,” says Dr. Alex Karidis, according to Ladbible.
But Anastasiia defies the doctors’ advice.
“This can be dangerous, but I do it with doctors I am learning online. I was worried, but I love this. After I had the injections and saw the changes in my cheeks, I fell in love with them. I love them, I want them to look like this and I’m very happy.
“I regularly inject other parts of my face myself. I understand that they look weird for other people but I don’t mind,” Anastasiia concluded, according to Ladbible.
