Here are Spring’s new trousers and they’re so ugly people should be thrown in jail for wearing them

The fashion world is nothings us mere mortals can comprehend – we got it loud and clear.

It’s hardly shocking when you see the new trends hitting the storefronts. However, the same question crosses all our (normal people) minds – why would anyone ever pay to wear something so ugly and uncomfortable-looking?

Of course, you can wear whatever you want, style is a personal thing, but there are some garments that I wouldn’t give to my sworn enemies.

And I’m pretty sure I’m not the only one that feels this way.

Last year we wrote about the hottest shorts of the summer – which we think are so awful it should be against the law to use them. Every now and then, new trends emerge in the clothing market – and it’s not uncommon if their bizarreness shocks you.

Here are the new, inflatable pants

Luckily though, taste is like a coin – there are usually two sides to it. After all, it would be sad if everyone liked and hated the same things.

There is a new garment in town, the inflatable latex trousers, which have, of course, set the internet on fire. They make your legs look like you are standing in front of a distorting mirror at the circus – or you are Aladdin from the Disney animated movie.

The trousers were created by designer Harikrishnan as part of his graduate collection from the prestigious London College of Fashion, reports Viral Thread.

The idea came to him while playing with his dog

These strange-looking pants consist of over 30 separate garments made of latex in white, red or green colors.

“I got the idea when I was playing with my dog and I started thinking about how exaggerated objects must look from such a low angle. The thought of him seeing me as a giant figure or not seeing my head at all was intriguing, so I decided to reimagine the people around me through the game of distortion,” Harikrishnan said recently in an interview with the site Dezeen.

“In fashion, I see the same images and similar proportions everywhere. I want to create visual imagery that’s as far away as possible from neutrality, to make people question the relevance of the proportions we see every day.” He concluded

He definitely succeeded with his creation. However, I would not walk around town in these pants if someone were holding a gun against my head.
